To get date of 30 days prior to
current date we need to write the code like as shown below
<script type="text/javascript">
function getdates() {
var today = new Date()
var priorDate = new Date();
priorDate.setDate(priorDate.getDate() - 30)
document.getElementById('lblCurrentDate').innerHTML
= today;
document.getElementById('lblPreviousDate').innerHTML
= priorDate;
}
</script>

If
you want to check it in complete example you need to write the code like as
shown below

document.getElementById('lblCurrentDate').innerHTML
= today;
document.getElementById('lblPreviousDate').innerHTML
= priorDate;
}
</script>
</head>
<body onload="getdates()">
<form id="form1">
