Introduction:
Here I will explain how to solve the problem of missing http
binding type in IIS 8(internet information services) manager in windows 8 or 8.1 or binding types are empty in IIS 8.
To fix this problem we need to make changes in WPAS and IIS settings in control
panel. Actually IIS binding type missing once I upgrade from windows 7 to
windows 8.1.

Whenever
I upgraded from windows 7 to windows 8.1 binding types are missing from IIS
like as shown below
To
fix this problem we need to uninstall Internet
Information Services (IIS) and Windows
Process Activation Services (WPAS) then Reboot system and again install both IIS and WPAS services for
that we need to follow below steps
1.
START à Control Panel à Programs à Turn Windows
Features on or off à
unselect Internet Information Services (IIS)
and Windows Process Activation
Services (WPAS) à
click OK button it will uninstall both
IIS and WPAS service

Now Restart your system

Once you restart your system again follow above steps and install both Internet Information Services (IIS), Windows Process Activation Services (WPAS) and
check your IIS it will fix your problem and your IIS bindings will be like as
shown below
